Each year our parish assists families in need with Christmas gifts.  During the Thanksgiving holiday and into early Advent, there is a Christmas tree in the narthex with tags of gift suggestions.  Unwrapped gifts are donated to the area around the tree.  Volunteers help to sort & organize the gifts. 

Donated items are given to the Catholic Charities Christmas Store, located in the Xavier Building, 1435 N. Illinois Street, which serves over 850 needy families. Volunteers can also sign up to work at The Christmas Store during Advent.
